Yolanda Rudich retired in 2014 from the Office of the Richmond County District Attorney, where she served for more than 27 years as an Assistant District Attorney. She was Chief of the Special Victims Bureau for 21 of those years. A summa cum laude graduate of the College of Staten Island, she earned her Juris Doctor degree in 1982 from Rutgers University School of Law – Newark, NJ. Ms. Rudich is a past president of the Staten Island Women’s Bar Association and a former vice president of the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York. She currently serves on the Staten Island’s Women’s Bar Advisory Council and chairs its Nomination Committee. Yolanda was a member of the board of directors of the Richmond County Bar Association for six years and chaired its Continuing Legal Education and Public Education Committees. She also served on both the Richmond County and New York City Bar Associations’ Judiciary Committees. Yolanda is a longtime member of Soroptimists International of Staten Island and the Advocacy Board of University Hospice.
